Entod Pharmaceuticals has introduced Lactoshield RH, a new probiotic designed to manage nasal allergies. This product helps alleviate conditions like allergic rhinitis. The probiotic contains a blend of clinically tested strains, which can reduce nasal allergic reactions.

Lactoshield RH is now available, but it should be used based on advice from an ENT specialist or rhinologist.

According to Nikkhil K Masurkar, CEO of Entod Pharmaceuticals, the intestinal flora significantly impacts inflammation and immune responses in allergic rhinitis. Imbalanced gut flora can trigger nasal allergies. Entod’s research team has identified certain lactic acid bacteria strains that stabilize gut health, improving biodiversity and controlling nasal mucosa inflammation.

Manas Prabhudesai, Product Manager, added that these probiotics enhance patients’ quality of life and reduce nasal or ocular symptoms in allergic rhinitis. Studies suggest probiotics might also prevent allergies, especially if taken early in life, particularly for children.
